Tourist flow from India to Uzbekistan up by 35%

Between January and April 2025, Uzbekistan received 22,600 tourists from India, upl.uz reported.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this marks an increase of 6,000 visitors or 35.6% compared to the same period last year.

Breakdown of Indian citizens entering Uzbekistan by purpose of visit:

• tourism — 13,937 people
• business trips — 5,959 people
• education — 2,540 people
• visiting relatives — 203 people
• commercial — 8 people
• medical treatment — 2 people
