Underage driver hits three girls in Kokand

A tragic traffic accident involving an underage driver occurred in the city of Kokand. The incident took place on May 20 at approximately 16:00 on A. Temur Street.

According to reports, a 'Malibu 2' vehicle driven by Z.A. struck three girls born in 2016 who were crossing the street at a pedestrian crossing.

As a result of the accident, the minor M.K. died in the hospital due to the injuries sustained.

A criminal case has been initiated against Z.A. under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, and the suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural rules. Preliminary investigations are currently ongoing.
