Neymar revealed the truth behind his departure from Saudi Arabia

After completing his one-year career at Al-Hilal, Neymar terminated his contract with the Saudis and moved to Santos, where he was raised.

The 32-year-old player told how he came to this decision.

- I admit that I have made several decisions that do not fit into the logic of football. The last of these was to return to Santos. How and when did I decide to return to Brazil?

I must admit that at the beginning of January, I had no intention of returning to Santos, nor did I have any desire to leave Al-Hilal. My family is happy, and I am full of desire to play.

A situation arose that required a sharp decision. I got bored with training, with the usual lifestyle, and it had a negative impact on my morale. When the opportunity arose to return to my country, I didn\'t think twice about it.

I told my father that I wanted to return to Santos and everything went smoothly. Everyone is happy about it, including me, my family and friends. I came back full of new energy, - said Neymar.

Neymar is a Santos graduate and scored 136 goals and provided 64 assists in 225 matches for the team between 2009 and 2013.
