The highest-paid players in Serie A have been revealed

The Capalogy portal analyzed the salaries of players playing in the Italian championship — Serie A — and published a list of the 15 highest-paid players. According to it, Juventus forward, Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović, is currently the highest-paid footballer in the country. His annual income is approximately €22 million.
Although this figure is slightly below the general picture in European football, it is considered the leading one in the Italian championship. For comparison: in the Spanish championship, the highest-paid footballer is Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé, who earns €31.2 million per year. Thus, the biggest salaries that Italian footballers receive are significantly lower compared to Spanish clubs. Only three players with the highest salaries in Serie A would be able to make it into La Liga’s top-20 list.
Accordingly, the list of the highest-paid players in Serie A is as follows:
-
Dušan Vlahović (Juventus) — €22m
-
Lautaro Martínez (Inter) — €16.6m
-
Paulo Dybala (Roma) — €12.9m
-
Nicolò Barella (Inter) — €12m
-
Jonathan David (Juventus) — €11.1m
-
Hakan Çalhanoğlu (Inter) — €11.1m
-
Kevin De Bruyne (Napoli) — €11.1m
-
Alessandro Bastoni (Inter) — €10.1m
-
Bremer (Juventus) — €9.2m
-
Piotr Zieliński (Inter) — €8.3m
-
Álvaro Morata (Como) — €8.3m
-
Marcus Thuram (Inter) — €7.6m
-
Romelu Lukaku (Napoli) — €7.6m
-
Federico Dimarco (Inter) — €7.4m
-
Ismaël Bennacer (Milan) — €7m
As can be seen, most of the footballers included in the top-15 are members of leading Italian clubs such as Inter and Juventus. This shows that the financial resources of the championship are mainly concentrated in the hands of the strongest teams.
