Steven Gerrard: Liverpool has lost its identity

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has delivered a harsh assessment of the team's current form, claiming the club has lost its identity under Arne Slot. The former captain described Mohamed Salah's controversial social media statement as a clear sign of deep-seated issues within the squad. This is reported by Goal.com .
Following the defeat against Aston Villa, Mohamed Salah broke his silence and urged the team to return to its former glory. According to Gerrard, this statement indicates that the atmosphere under Arne Slot's management has deteriorated and that the players are dissatisfied.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Gerrard said: "It's a very interesting situation. Mohamed Salah is usually quiet and doesn't write such posts. He wants to signal to the outside world that things are not right in the Liverpool dressing room, that the team has lost its identity, and that it is hurting him deeply."
Liverpool has suffered its 12th defeat in the Premier League this season. Gerrard described Mohamed Salah's words about the "team falling apart" as very serious and worrying. According to him, the pressure on the manager and players is extremely high, as the performance shown is completely below the club's standards.
