Formula 1 race may be held in Uzbekistan

According to famous British automotive journalist Joe Saward, the Uzbekistan government is considering hosting a stage of the Formula 1 competition within the country.
Reports suggest that a representative from Uzbekistan recently held a meeting at the racing paddock during the Singapore Grand Prix, where the possibility of organizing the event in Tashkent or another city was discussed.
Currently, Formula 1 stages are held in eight countries across Asia and the Middle East - Bahrain, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Qatar, and the UAE. If Uzbekistan joins this list, it could enhance the country\'s prestige in international motorsport.
