During the Matador Fighter Challenge in Chicago, 31-year-old fighter Isaac Johnson accidentally fell to the ground at the end of the fight and died in the hospital a few hours later. According to NBC Chicago, the incident occurred on November 21 at the Cicero Stadium.

When Johnson was injured, an ambulance was called at 20:38, but the doctors\' efforts were unsuccessful - the fighter died at 12:01. The medical examination ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and the police launched an official investigation.

In a statement on Facebook, the promotional organization called the incident a \"message I never wanted to write\" and expressed its deepest condolences to the soldier\'s family and friends.

Chicago is known for its MMA and jiu-jitsu schools, from which fighters like Belal Muhammad came. Johnson\'s death was a heavy loss for the local sports team.
