De Rossi views loss to Inter as positive for Genoa

Genoa head coach Daniele De Rossi commented on the result of the Serie A Matchday 15 game against Inter. The match, held in Genoa, ended with a 2-1 victory for the Nerazzurri.

According to De Rossi, Genoa played a deserving match, but the higher class of the opponent was evident. "It might sound strange, but we played well.

In terms of mental preparation, the team did not give up. The most important thing is that we did not surrender and stayed in the game," De Rossi told Sky Sport Italia.

Following this victory, Inter accumulated 33 points, securing the top spot in the league table. Genoa, with 14 points, is currently in 16th place.
