Vieri calls Serie A the strongest league in the world

Former AC Milan striker Christian Vieri has hailed Italy’s Serie A as today’s most prestigious and strongest league in world football. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

According to the expert, the Italian league always has intrigue: not one, but several main contenders fight for the trophy at the same time.

“Every match is a battle. Serie A is the most enjoyable league in Europe. The leaders change often, yet we still enjoy the fight among four clubs,” Vieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter currently top the standings: after 15 rounds, the Milan side have collected 33 points. Behind the Nerazzurri are Milan (32), Napoli (31), Roma (30) and Juventus (29).
