Werder want to sign Ukrainian defender

Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine national team defender Yefim Konoplya could continue his career in the German league. This is reported by euro-football.ru.reports.

According to Sport.ua, the 26-year-old is attracting interest from Werder Bremen. The German club’s management plans to bring him in during the January transfer window.

Konoplya’s transfer value is estimated at €5 million. The defender’s current contract with Shakhtar runs until next summer.

In the first half of the 2025/2026 season, he made 19 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.
