Inigo Martinez says his Barca season was the best of his career

Al-Nassr centre-back Inigo Martinez called last season the brightest spell of his entire career, euro-football.ru reports reports .

The experienced Spaniard was a key figure in Hans-Dieter Flick’s side during the 2024/25 campaign and became one of the main pillars of Barcelona’s playing system. The Blaugrana won every domestic trophy and reached the Champions League semi-finals. In the summer, Martinez moved to Saudi Arabia.

“Last season was the best of my professional career. I lived it to the fullest, enjoyed it, won trophies and experienced at Barça all the feelings I wanted to live through,” Spanish media quote the player as saying.
