"Lens" club called their former player Khusanov a "real machine"

Former Lens coach Will Still shared his warm memories about the talented Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov, who is now defending the colors of English club Manchester City. The coach\'s words once again confirm what an enormous potential the young footballer possesses. Zamin.uz shares details of this interesting interview.
\"We started working with Abdukodir Khusanov. He now plays at Manchester City, and he was a real machine. He is an unbelievably strong footballer,\" said Will Still.
Path from doubts to success
Recalling the first days of arriving at Lens, Will Still didn\'t hide that initially there were various opinions about Abdukodir Khusanov within the club. Some even said he should be sent on loan. However, events took a completely different turn. Although the club\'s management acquired him for a very small sum — about 200,000 euros — this transfer later became one of the most successful decisions for the team.
\"When we came to the club in June, we were told different things about him. \'He hasn\'t fully convinced, you can loan him out or gradually give him playing time.\' The club bought him for a very small sum — approximately 200,000 euros,\" he said.
Bright talent in training
According to the coach, the footballer\'s true level became apparent when he returned from the Olympic Games. \"He went to the Olympics, so he missed part of the pre-season training. We were watching him. When he returned, already in the first training sessions we understood his level,\" said the coach.
Still also described our compatriot as \"a real machine\" and an unbelievably strong footballer, highly praising his work ethic.
