Robert Lewandowski officially announces his departure from Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski has announced that he will leave Barcelona after a four-year stint. The Polish striker officially confirmed via his Instagram page that he will part ways with the club during the summer transfer window. This is reported by Goal.com .

"After four years of hard work and challenges, it is time to move forward. I am leaving with my mission accomplished. Four seasons and three championship titles – it was an amazing era," the footballer wrote in his statement.

Lewandowski called Catalonia his home and expressed his gratitude to the fans and club president Joan Laporta. Since arriving from Bayern Munich in 2022, he has made 191 appearances, scoring 119 goals and providing 24 assists.

Although the 37-year-old striker was offered a contract extension by Barcelona, the new terms involved a salary reduction and reduced playing time. Currently, clubs from the USA and Saudi Arabia, as well as Juventus, are showing serious interest in the player.
