Uzbek track cyclists win three medals in Astana

The second stage of the "Silk Way Series Astana 2026" track cycling tournament took place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The Uzbekistan national team achieved notable results in the competition, which featured elite riders from 10 countries.
According to the National Olympic Committee, our representatives won 2 silver and 1 bronze medal at this international tournament. This result once again demonstrates the potential of Uzbek cycling.
One of the silver medals went to the pair of Samira Ismoilova and Asal Rizayeva in the madison event. Our athletes displayed high skill and teamwork in highly competitive races to secure a spot on the second step of the podium.
Sergey Rostovsev secured another silver medal in the omnium event. He performed consistently throughout the complex multi-stage races to achieve a high overall result.
The bronze medal went to Nafosat Koziyeva. She also competed against strong rivals in the omnium event to take third place.
