Conflict between Mohamed Salah and Arne Slot: Internal atmosphere at Liverpool is deteriorating

In April 2024, a disagreement arose between Mohamed Salah and Jürgen Klopp following a draw against West Ham. At the time, the Egyptian forward decided not to escalate the situation, telling journalists: "If I speak, there will be fire." Since Klopp was leaving anyway, Salah did not want to completely ruin his relationship with the club legend. This is reported by Goal.com.
However, the situation involving Arne Slot, who replaced Klopp, has taken a completely different turn. In his latest statements, Salah did not refrain from openly criticizing the Dutch manager. Although he did not mention the coach's name, his Instagram post and the reactions of his teammates clearly indicate who the target is.
This was Salah's third "attack" on Slot this season. After Liverpool confirmed that Mohamed Salah would leave the team before the end of the season, it became clear that the forward would not leave quietly. The star, who has played at Anfield for nine years, has always shown his dissatisfaction in various ways.
The fact that the player, who led Liverpool to the Premier League title last season, was benched has further aggravated the situation. Salah claimed that "someone" at the club is trying to blame him for the team's worst results in the last 71 years and that his relationship with the coach has completely broken down.
Such behavior by Salah is being sharply criticized by the football community and former players. It is said that bringing the club's internal secrets to the public contradicts Liverpool's long-standing rules and is unprofessional.
