Manchester City unveils new kits for the 2026-27 season
Manchester City and PUMA have unveiled their new kit collection for the 2026-27 season. Created under the slogan "Not Your Typical City," this collection breaks away from traditional design patterns, reflecting the club's culture of constant evolution and pursuit of uniqueness. The new home kit moves away from the traditional solid-color style, featuring a unique light blue gradient design. This design, which transitions smoothly from a dark color on the shoulders to white at the bottom, represents the chronology of various sky-blue kits in the club's history. The kit is enriched with a white collar and cuffs, as well as a silver metallic club emblem that emphasizes modernity. Replica shirts are priced at £85, while the authentic version is set at £125.
The away kit is based on the worker bee motif, a symbol of the city. The combination of a dark black base and light yellow elements recalls the club's third kit from the 1989-90 season. Additionally, mosaic patterns reminiscent of a beehive are expected to appear on the front of the shirt.
The third kit of Manchester City has a unique history: it was created based on a fan competition using PUMA's AI Creator tool. Out of nearly 180,000 designs submitted by fans, 10 finalists were selected, and the winning project was professionally refined to its final form.
