Luis Enrique: Arsenal are the best team in the world without the ball

PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on their upcoming Champions League final opponent, Arsenal. The two giants will face off in Budapest on May 30 to determine Europe's top club. Enrique highly praised the tactical setup of Mikel Arteta's side. This is reported by Goal.com .

The Spanish tactician emphasized that Premier League champions Arsenal are currently unrivaled in the world when it comes to "movement without the ball." Having lost to the Parisians in the semi-finals last season, the Gunners are looking for revenge. In his press conference, Luis Enrique praised the work of his compatriot Mikel Arteta in London.

"They deserved the title and had a fantastic season. We have faced this Arsenal before and know exactly what they are capable of. Without the ball, they are the best in the world, and with the ball, they can score at will. It is a perfect combination for them," said the PSG boss.

The upcoming final is a rematch of last year's semi-final. Back then, PSG won 3-1 on aggregate and went on to thrash Inter 5-0 in the final. Nevertheless, Enrique specifically noted the opponent's growth. According to him, Mikel Arteta has successfully instilled a winning mentality in the team.

While Luis Enrique has won the Champions League with Barcelona and PSG during his career, this is the first major international final for Arteta. "They are achieving success consistently. For us, the most important thing is to focus on our own game rather than the opponent. This is Europe's most prestigious tournament, so the level will be very high," Enrique added.
