Cristiano Ronaldo wins first Saudi league title with Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo could not hold back his emotions after winning his first league title with Al-Nassr in a dramatic final round of the Saudi Pro League. Following a 4-1 victory over Damak, the Portuguese legend was moved to tears on the pitch and later celebrated with fans at Al-Awwal Park. This is reported by Goal.com .

Under the management of Jorge Jesus, Al-Nassr celebrated their 11th league title in history thanks to this victory. Despite the pressure from Al-Hilal, who remained unbeaten throughout the season, the Riyadh-based side secured gold medals for the first time since 2019. After goals from Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman, Cristiano Ronaldo became the hero of the night by scoring a brace to seal the win.

The 41-year-old forward scored his 27th goal with a stunning free-kick and added his second, the team's fourth, ten minutes before the final whistle. After being substituted, Ronaldo broke down in tears on the bench, reflecting on the significance of this success after two years of frustration in the Middle East.

This championship marks the eighth league title of Ronaldo's career across four different countries. Although he finished the season with 28 goals, trailing Julian Quinones and Ivan Toney in the Golden Boot race, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner solidified his legacy by leading Al-Nassr back to the pinnacle of Saudi football.
