Interest from Al-Nassr in Guardiola revealed

It has been revealed that the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has started moving around another big name. The Riyadh club's management is exploring the possibility of inviting Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola to the team. This was announced by the Spanish specialist's agent, Josep Maria Orobitg.
The agent noted that the Saudi side has indeed made contact. However, for now, it remains at the level of initial interest only. That is, serious negotiations with Guardiola have not begun, and no major financial offer has been put forward.
"They have made contact, but nothing more than that. The Saudis did not offer a large sum. At the moment, Guardiola is not holding any negotiations," said Josep Maria Orobitg in an interview with the Okaz newspaper.
It is natural that this news has aroused great interest in the football community. Because Guardiola has become one of the most influential coaches in world football over the last decade. The teams he has managed have stood out not only for trophies but also for their style of play, ball control, and tactical innovations.
For information, Pep has been managing Manchester City since 2016. Under his leadership, the "Citizens" have become Premier League champions 6 times. Also, one of the biggest dreams in the club's history — winning the Champions League — was achieved during Guardiola's era.
The Spanish specialist created an entire era at Manchester City. He transformed the club from a strong English team into one of the most stable and dangerous systems in European football. Therefore, any news about his future immediately becomes a subject of great discussion.
Previously, Guardiola announced that he would leave Manchester City at the end of the 2025/2026 season. This has fueled various speculations about his next job. While some sources suggest he could be seen in a national team, others emphasize that Saudi clubs might also be interested in him.
For Al-Nassr, the Guardiola option represents a very high ambition. The club has a star like Cristiano Ronaldo in its squad, and the team has been trying to increase international attention in recent years. If a specialist like Pep heads to the Saudi league, it could raise the prestige of the entire league to another level.
However, for now, this scenario has not reached the level of real negotiations. According to the agent, Guardiola is not currently making deals with anyone. So, Al-Nassr has interest, but in the language of the transfer market, it is not yet a "concrete move."
In short, Al-Nassr is monitoring the situation around Guardiola, but there is no major offer or official negotiation yet. Although it is clear that Pep will leave Manchester City, his next destination is still unknown. This intrigue will now heat up even more: the football world is waiting for Pep's next step like a Netflix series.
