Bayern Munich propose sensational swap deal to Newcastle for Anthony Gordon

Bayern Munich are preparing an unexpected plan to secure Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon during the summer transfer window. The Bavarians intend to include goalkeeper Alexander Nübel in the deal to lower the £68 million asking price set by the English club. This is reported by Goal.com .
According to Bild, the Bundesliga giants are determined to sign Gordon but currently lack the funds to meet Newcastle's full valuation. Consequently, Bayern's management wants to use Nübel, who has returned from a loan spell at Stuttgart, to reduce the transfer fee. This offer could be attractive as Newcastle are currently searching for a new goalkeeper to replace Nick Pope, who is expected to leave the club.
Although Nübel has a contract with the Munich club until 2030, he is not part of the team's future plans. Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund confirmed that the club trusts the trio of Manuel Neuer, Jonas Urbig, and Sven Ulreich. Meanwhile, another club executive, Max Eberl, stated their intention to strengthen the attacking line if the price is right.
A final decision on this complex swap deal may drag on until the end of the summer. Currently, Nübel is participating in a tournament in North America with the German national team. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe faces a difficult choice between accepting this offer to strengthen his squad or keeping Gordon.
