Web browsers and video apps coming to Android Auto

Google is updating Android Auto with several new features, according to rozetked.me.

Key updates include:
• Spotify Jam – lets multiple users control a shared playlist using a QR code.
• Video apps and browsers – available only when the vehicle is parked.
• Light mode UI – improves visual comfort during use.
• Quick Share – makes it easy to add stops in Google Maps.
• Passkey support – enhances in-platform security for Android Auto.

Web browsing and gaming features are currently in beta, while weather apps have exited testing and are now publicly available.
