Figure 03: a smart humanoid robot that handles housework

Figure Robotics has unveiled the new generation of its upgraded humanoid robot. The updated Figure 03 is now a home-help: cleaning, doing laundry, washing dishes, serving food, and even small deliveries.

Thanks to tactile sensors in its hands, the robot can “feel” objects, grip them safely, and work carefully even with fragile or uneven items. Cameras in each palm help adjust movements in real time, even in confined spaces.

Figure 03’s “brain” is the Helix AI, which combines vision, language, and motion. Therefore, it understands the task, observes the environment, and adapts its movement to the situation.

The device is built on an “adaptive” platform: it can be used at home in a human-like “outfit,” while in manufacturing a different configuration can be employed. The new model is lighter and more compact than previous ones and also supports wireless power.

For now, the mass-production date of the Figure 03 robot has not been announced.
