Dell introduces the new Alienware 15 laptop

On May 14, Dell Technologies officially unveiled its new Alienware 15 gaming laptop. Although the device was announced as the most affordable model in the 2026 Alienware series, its starting price is $1,299.99. This figure is significantly higher than market expectations, as users had anticipated a price point around $1,000. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
Company representatives explained that the price increase is due to a global RAM shortage and rising demand for AI infrastructure. Nevertheless, the Alienware 15 remains the most budget-friendly option in its lineup, as other models, such as the Area-51 series, are sold at prices up to $2,599.99.
The design of the new laptop is more subdued compared to previous generations. In line with the "Essentials-only aesthetic" concept, a minimalist metal chassis and white keyboard backlighting have been chosen instead of bright RGB lighting. This makes the device suitable not only for gamers but also for office professionals.
Technically, the Alienware 15 is equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 or AMD Ryzen 200 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050–5060 graphics cards. RAM capacity ranges from 8 to 32 GB, and SSD storage can be from 512 GB to 1 TB. Dell also introduced new laptops with OLED screens, such as the 14S and 16S.
