Xiaomi 17 Max vs iPhone 17 Pro Max: Battery Life Comparison

Xiaomi has announced the results of autonomy tests for its new Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone. In tests based on a video playback scenario on the Bilibili platform, the device recorded a record-breaking result. The Xiaomi 17 Max is equipped with an 8000 mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery for the first time, making it the longest-lasting smartphone in the company's history. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
In the published video, the Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone is compared with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. According to the test results, the Xiaomi flagship lasted 33.3 hours in continuous video playback mode, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max recorded approximately 16 hours. This means that the Xiaomi 17 Max can last longer on a single charge than the combined runtime of two iPhone 17 Pro Max devices.
Technically, the new model is equipped with a 6.9-inch ultra-thin bezel display. The device features a 200 MP Leica main camera, a large 1/1.4-inch sensor, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
Xiaomi also highlighted that its new flagship uses multi-frame fusion algorithms. This technology allows for maintaining high image detail even during digital zoom.
