Alisa AI helps with product selection and taxi booking in Yandex Go

The Yandex team announced the launch of a new feature in the Yandex Go service. The integrated Alisa AI now assists in selecting products directly within the chat, ranging from clothing to electronics. According to the developers, the neural network can find items in a specific style, compare phones, or recommend a suitable air conditioner for a bedroom. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

Thanks to this new capability, users can handle daily tasks within a single chat window. Currently, the chat is available to over a million users on the waitlist in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In the future, Alisa AI is planned to be rolled out to all Yandex Go users.

In addition to shopping, Alisa AI helps with ordering taxis, food delivery, and choosing restaurants. To find what you need, simply type or voice a request like "An interesting book for children under a thousand rubles" or "Which lawnmower is best for a summer house?". The AI agent clarifies preferences and suggests the most suitable options.

Yandex representatives explain that when interacting with Alisa AI, there is no need to switch between different sections of the app or spend time browsing numerous products. This is especially convenient for organizing events like a romantic dinner or a trip with friends. For example, you can ask the neural network to find a restaurant, choose new headphones, and order flower delivery, then book a taxi to the destination right within the same chat.
