Sales of iPhone 17 smartphones in the Chinese market surged following price cuts. According to insider Digital Chat Station, the total activation count for this series has exceeded 30 million units. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

The main reason for such high demand was the discounts offered on the iPhone 17 Pro line. Starting from mid-May, prices were reduced by approximately 1,000 yuan ($145), which immediately boosted consumer interest.

In the first days after the discounts were announced, interest in Apple smartphones increased several times over, with search queries rising by approximately 7 times. It is reported that nearly half of the activated devices are the iPhone 17 Pro Max model.
