Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Sergey Kiriyenko in Moscow

Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting in Moscow with First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko.

During the conversation, the main areas of Uzbek-Russian cooperation were discussed. It was emphasized that the trusting relations between the leaders of the two states are a solid foundation of strategic partnership and alliance.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of youth and personnel policy. It was noted that the parties are interested in further developing cooperation in these areas, including exchanging experience and implementing joint initiatives to support talented youth and educate a new generation of leaders.

“A positive momentum in cooperation in the field of education has been noted: the number of Uzbek students studying in Russian universities is steadily increasing. Branches of a number of leading Russian universities are successfully operating in Uzbekistan,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
