For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, the number of monthly tourists exceeded one million

Uzbekistan has set a new record in the field of tourism - since April 2025, the country has been receiving more than 1 million foreign tourists every month.

According to national statistics, more than 8.6 million tourists visited Uzbekistan in the first nine months of this year. This indicator increased by 112.5% compared to the same period last year.

The flow of tourists has increased sharply, especially in a number of countries. In particular, the number of tourists from Great Britain increased 2.6 times, from Qatar - 6.2 times, from the USA - 3 times, from France - 2.9 times, from Russia - 2.1 times, from Hungary - 3.3 times, from Germany - 2.5 times, and from Poland - 6.2 times.

This year, the export of tourist services also reached a high level, exceeding US$3.6 billion.

According to officials, this achievement is the result of reforms aimed at increasing the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, expanding international flights, and improving the quality of services.
