Uzbekistan’s external debt exceeds $75 billion

As of October 1, 2025, Uzbekistan’s total external debt amounted to $75.4 billion. Of this, $37.4 billion is public debt and $38.0 billion is corporate debt. Over the past year, the debt increased by $15.2 billion, including $3.2 billion added in Q3.

Although the external operations account deficit has narrowed, it remains negative.
