President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Kazakhstan to participate in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States. The head of state is making this visit at the invitation of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
It is reported that this informal summit will be dedicated to the theme of “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.” Leaders of Turkic states will discuss how to apply modern technologies, digital infrastructure, and artificial intelligence capabilities to regional development.
The summit agenda also includes key areas such as further expanding trade and economic cooperation, strengthening investment ties, developing transport and communication networks, and enhancing partnerships in the field of ecology.
Especially in today's global competition, digital technologies are becoming a decisive factor for the development of every nation. Therefore, expanding cooperation among Turkic states regarding artificial intelligence, data exchange, innovative solutions, and digital services is of urgent importance.
The summit is expected to focus on developing digital infrastructure, introducing innovative technologies into public administration and economic sectors, and the practical application of artificial intelligence capabilities.
These areas are also of great importance for Uzbekistan. In recent years, the country has implemented a series of reforms regarding digitalization, electronic services, the IT sector, startups, and the introduction of AI-based solutions.
Such dialogues within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States allow for the formation of a common digital space in the region, acceleration of trade and logistics processes, finding modern solutions to ecological problems, and taking investment cooperation to a new level.
In short, the summit in Kazakhstan will not just be a diplomatic meeting, but an important dialogue platform for the Turkic world surrounding future technologies. Artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction — it is becoming the new language of the economy, public administration, and regional cooperation.
