The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the new values of foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum, effective from June 1.
According to the update:
- the dollar increased by 4.11 sum, reaching 12,001.94 sum;
- the euro rose by 5.99 sum, reaching 13,973.86 sum;
- the ruble decreased by 0.64 sum, amounting to 166.67 sum.
Previously, the dollar rate had risen by 18.19 sum to 11,997.83 sum. The exchange rate had fallen below 12,000 sum on May 15. Now, starting June 1, the dollar has climbed back above the 12,000 sum threshold.
