In an interview with the "Central Sector" project, Uzbekistan national team head coach Fabio Cannavaro spoke about one of the biggest losses in the squad. The Italian specialist specifically mentioned Husniddin Aliqulov, who is sidelined due to injury.
Cannavaro noted that he was strongly impressed by Aliqulov's performance from his very first days with the Uzbekistan national team. While everyone was talking about Abdukodir Khusanov, the Italian coach's attention was drawn to Husniddin's defensive movement, reliable play, and composure on the pitch.
"We have lost a very good defender. When I first arrived, he surprised me and made a very good impression," said Cannavaro.
