Audi officially announces its new flagship SUV – the Audi Q9

Audi is preparing to unveil its largest flagship SUV, the Audi Q9. The new vehicle will be produced in 6 or 7-seater configurations and built on the PPC platform. Company representatives state that this model embodies a combination of "elegance and spaciousness." This is reported by Ixbt.com reports.
The most notable feature of the vehicle's interior is the three large screens mounted on the dashboard. Additionally, a convenient control selector has replaced the traditional gear lever. The interior trim uses materials such as wool, microfiber, and high-quality Nappa leather. The Bang & Olufsen audio system is enhanced with vibration modules that create a 4D sound effect.
The Audi Q9 will be equipped with electric drives on all doors, which can be controlled via key, smartphone, or the media system. In the six-seater version, the second-row seats feature heating and ventilation functions, while the third-row seats fold electronically. A panoramic roof covering 1.5 square meters is also included.
Technically, the vehicle is expected to be offered with V6 and V8 engines, as well as a hybrid system. All engines will work in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In the future, in addition to the standard version, sporty SQ9 and luxurious Horch Edition modifications are planned for release. Sales are expected to begin in 2027.
