According to reports, the photo was taken from a Xiaomi smartphone gifted by the Chinese leader to the South Korean president. This aspect made the selfie more symbolic and significant.

Lee Jae-myung shared the footage on the social network X (Twitter), calling it a \"remarkable moment.\" He also expressed warm thoughts on the relations between the two countries.

\"The closer we get to each other, the warmer Korean-Chinese relations will become. In the future, we will communicate more frequently and cooperate more actively,\" the South Korean president wrote.
