New complaints in the Jeffrey Epstein case increase in France

The Paris Prosecutor's Office announced that new complaints have been received regarding the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein. Paris Prosecutor Laure Beccuau stated on the RTL television channel that about ten more potential victims have contacted law enforcement agencies.

According to her, the total number of complaints received in France within the framework of this case has reached approximately 20. Investigators are currently reviewing these testimonies and attempting to clarify the circumstances of each complaint.

The prosecutor's office's main goal is to identify potential intermediaries involved in human trafficking within French territory. The investigation is examining individuals who may have assisted in Epstein's criminal activities, including those involved in recruiting victims or related actions.

“No one who could be held accountable has been questioned yet,” said Laure Beccuau.

The prosecutor emphasized that at this stage, investigators are primarily collecting testimonies from potential victims. In the next phase, physical evidence, digital data, and other materials will be thoroughly analyzed.

It is reported that in the future, data from Epstein's computers, phone records, address books, and other documents will also be examined. This information may be crucial in identifying potential contacts and intermediaries in France.

Jeffrey Epstein's name is associated with major global scandals. He served time for organizing prostitution in 2008–2009. On July 6, 2019, he was arrested again on charges related to the exploitation of underage girls. A month later, on August 10, he was found hanged in his New York prison cell.

In December 2025, the first part of documents related to the Epstein case was made public. On January 30, 2026, the US Department of Justice released over 3 million more pages, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images related to the “Epstein files.”

Previous materials also mentioned Epstein's connections with a number of prominent figures. Among them was the name of Prince Andrew of Britain. Additionally, JPMorgan reached a $290 million settlement with victims for its long-term financial cooperation with Epstein.

According to the US Department of Justice, more than 1,200 victims have been identified in the case materials. This number shows the vast scale of this case.

In short, the Epstein case remains internationally relevant even years later. The emergence of new complaints in France suggests that the investigation may expand further. Now the main question is: will the testimonies of the victims lead to the real intermediaries and accomplices?
