Scooter driving license requirement postponed to October

Uzbekistan has postponed the requirement for driving licenses to operate scooters and mopeds until October 1, kursiv.media reported.

According to a Cabinet resolution, from that date, a Category A license will be required for vehicles with engines from 25 to 50 cm³, and electric scooters with power between 0.25 kW and 4 kW.

Driving without a license will lead to legal liability. The measure was previously planned to take effect from March 1.
