17-year-old scooter rider dies in Surxondaryo Damas crash
A traffic accident in Termiz city, Surxondaryo region, claimed the life of a 17-year-old 11th grade student, gazeta.uz reported.
The incident occurred around 01:30 a.m. on June 6, 2025, in the Bog‘ishamol neighborhood. A Damas driver attempted to turn left at an intersection and collided with an oncoming scooter. The scooter was driven by a 17-year-old boy — an 11th grade student.
As a result of the crash, the boy suffered a fractured thigh bone and closed head injuries. He was taken to a medical facility but passed away despite medical intervention.
Following the accident, explanatory work was conducted with the organization that owned the Damas vehicle.
