A person from Tashkent fined for damaging a tree

According to the press service of the Tashkent City Department of Ecology, measures were taken against the person who damaged the tree. Information has spread on social networks that a tree was damaged in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city, near the "Vatan" cinema.

To investigate this incident, ecology inspectors were sent to the scene. During the inspection, it was found that the tree had not been completely destroyed, but it was damaged.

For this reason, an administrative report was drawn up under Part 1 of the article of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Illegal cutting, uprooting, damaging, destroying or relocating of trees, bushes, other plants and saplings." A fine of 10,300,000 soums was imposed on this person.

In addition, he was obliged to pay 2,472,000 soums as compensation for the damage caused to nature.
