Stray dog responsible for the death of an 8-year-old child caught in Angren

In the city of Angren, Tashkent region, a stray dog that caused the death of an 8-year-old child has been caught. Following the tragic incident, the regional administration has significantly strengthened control and capture operations for stray animals in the area. As a result of urgent measures taken by the Angren city landscaping department, the dog that attacked the child was located and placed in a special holding facility.
An emergency meeting was held regarding this horrific event with the participation of responsible agencies, including the veterinary department and the sanitary-epidemiological welfare service. Specific instructions were given to ensure safety in the regions and reduce the number of stray animals. Officials emphasized that ensuring public safety is a top priority.
It should be recalled that a similar situation occurred in the city of Yangiyul in mid-January of this year. At that time, a pack of dogs attacked an 11-year-old child on his way to school, causing severe bodily injuries. Such unfortunate incidents occurring recently further increase the need to control the situation with stray animals in the regions.
