Fire breaks out in a multi-story building in Bukhara

A fire that broke out in a multi-story building in the city of Bukhara caused anxiety and panic among the residents. The incident occurred on May 16 in the Shirbudin neighborhood.

According to witnesses, the fire started on the roof of the building, and within a short time, black smoke covered the area. Residents who saw the situation immediately went out into the courtyard.

Citizens recall the event with fear. It is noted that there was crying of children, elderly people calling out to each other in confusion, and a general atmosphere of panic. The situation stabilized somewhat after the rescuers arrived.

According to the Bukhara Regional Emergency Situations Department, the report about the fire was received through the '112' system at 15:57. Rapid measures were taken against the fire.

Rescue service personnel arrived at the scene in a short time, took rapid measures to fight the fire, and evacuated the residents to a safe area. The fire was completely extinguished at 17:25.

According to official information, no casualties were reported as a result of the incident. Currently, investigation work regarding the causes of the fire and the amount of damage caused is ongoing.
