Man decides to sell grandfather's medals for wedding

In Uzbekistan, a man decided to sell antique items kept as a family heirloom to fund his wedding. The items in question are three historical medals awarded to his grandfather during World War II.
According to reports, these medals had been kept in the family as a memento for many years. However, the need to sell them arose due to his upcoming marriage.
Initial estimates by appraisers suggest that the total value of these three medals is approximately 150 million soums. This indicates that the medals hold not only material but also significant historical value.
This situation has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with users expressing mixed opinions. Some view it as a difficult life necessity, while others criticize exchanging family heritage for money.
