15-year-old girl undergoes free surgery on the eve of Eid al-Adha

Humanitarian and charitable activities continue on a large scale in Uzbekistan in honor of Eid al-Adha. Based on the President's decree on organizing state support and acts of kindness for the population during the holy Eid al-Adha, a number of noble initiatives are being implemented in the Surkhandarya region.

15-year-old Munisa Shodikulova, who is undergoing treatment at the regional oncology dispensary, was one of the patients in need of such assistance. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, and has been under medical supervision for several months.

Due to limited financial resources, the necessary surgical procedure had been postponed for some time. However, on the eve of Eid al-Adha, a decision was made to perform the surgery for free, and the operation was successfully completed.
