Shavkat Mirziyoyev Congratulates the People of Uzbekistan on Eid al-Adha

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha .
"I sincerely congratulate you, dear compatriots, all the Muslims in our country, and our entire nation on this great holiday – the blessed Eid al-Adha," the greeting begins.
The Head of State emphasized that the holiday of peace, kindness, and generosity – Eid al-Adha – embodies the noble ideas and deeds inherent in our sacred religion, and is becoming even more precious to everyone as it aligns with the essence of the large-scale humanitarian reforms currently being carried out in our country.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that in recent years, efforts to study and promote Uzbekistan's ancient history and rich cultural values, the scientific and educational heritage of our great scholars and thinkers, and the true essence of Islam have reached a new level.
"This can be clearly seen in the unique monuments that are the wonders of New Uzbekistan, such as the Center for Islamic Civilization in our great capital, the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand, and the Burhanuddin al-Marghinani scientific-educational and tourism complex in Margilan, which recently opened their doors to our people and guests. Undoubtedly, all these are important historical steps toward building a New Uzbekistan, and they call us to act with even greater mobilization," said the President.
At the same time, the Head of State congratulated all pilgrims on Eid al-Adha and stated that he prays to Allah to accept their worship.
"We hope that these respected compatriots, returning from the sacred pilgrimage, will actively participate in spiritual and educational work in our families, neighborhoods, and the entire society as promoters of goodness and enlightenment," the President said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also sent warm greetings to Muslim friends and partners in various countries around the world, wishing them peace, prosperity, and well-being.
"Dear compatriots! On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, several days of rest have been designated again this year. We express special gratitude to our fellow citizens who are serving our people and performing their duties at the borders of our Motherland with responsibility even during the holidays. We also sincerely congratulate our compatriots studying and working abroad and express our best wishes to them all. Praise be to Allah for bringing our nation to such a blessed day in peace and unity! May the Almighty protect our people! Happy Eid al-Adha to all of us!" the greeting concludes.
