AFC President congratulates Uzbekistan U-17 national team on winning the AFC Cup

The President of the Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, Bahodir Kurbanov, on the Uzbek U-17 national team winning the Asian Cup.

“I am pleased to congratulate you and the Uzbek football family on your victory in the AFC U-17 Championship in Saudi Arabia.

The excellent performance of Uzbekistan during the tournament is a testament to the hard work and efforts made to develop and popularize football in your country.

I would like to thank Islam Ismailov and the entire team for their brilliant performance during the tournament and wish them success in the FIFA U-17 World Cup!

I also wish the Uzbek football community every success in their future endeavors,” the AFC President’s congratulatory message reads.
