Eric Garcia to Sign Contract with Barcelona Until 2029

Barcelona defender Eric García is on the verge of signing a new long-term contract with the club. Negotiations are progressing successfully and have reached their final stage.

According to journalist Ferran Correas, the 24-year-old player will sign a contract with the "Blaugrana" until mid-2029. The agreement also includes an option for an automatic one-year extension.

Eric García returned to Barcelona from Manchester City in 2021. This season, the Spanish footballer has appeared in 16 matches across all competitions under the leadership of Hans-Dieter Flick, managing to score one goal.

His current contract is set to expire this summer.
