Karim Adeyemi Protests Substitution and Faces Fine

Karim Adeyemi, attacking midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, expressed his discontent after being substituted during the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Bundesliga's Matchday 15 fixture concluded with Dortmund securing a 2–0 victory.

After leaving the field, the player headed straight to the dressing room, but the team's Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl intervened. Kehl explained to Sky Sport that Adeyemi's substitution was fully justified: "The substitution was entirely appropriate.

He did not play well. There are matters to discuss.

I don’t want to see such a reaction, nor does the coach, nor does the team. He will face a fine."
