Galatasaray interested in signing Julian Brandt

Turkish champions Galatasaray are planning to sign midfielder Julian Brandt, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund expires in the summer transfer window. According to Sky, the Istanbul club has already begun negotiations with the player and is prepared to meet his wage demands. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Brandt, who has made 48 appearances for the Germany national team, has not yet made a final decision regarding his future. The player wants to continue his career at a top-tier European club. Although Galatasaray hopes to sign him, sources indicate that the midfielder's priority is a move to the Spanish league.
Clubs such as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Villarreal are showing interest in Brandt. The fact that the player is currently learning Spanish increases the likelihood of a move to La Liga. At the same time, he is not currently considering options to move to Japan or the USA.
Having played 307 matches for Borussia Dortmund over seven years, Brandt has scored 57 goals and provided 70 assists. As no agreement has been reached to extend the contract with the midfielder, who has been a key player under Niko Kovac, he will leave the club as a free agent in the summer.
