Bayern President on Vincent Kompany: He is not for sale

Bayern Munich President Herbert Hainer has put an end to the rumors surrounding head coach Vincent Kompany. Despite reports linking him to Manchester City, the club chief labeled the Belgian expert as "not for sale" and praised his work at the Allianz Arena. This is reported by Goal.com reports .

With Pep Guardiola's future at the Etihad Stadium uncertain, Kompany was being seen as his potential successor. However, the Munich club has no intention of letting their coach go. Hainer emphasized that the contract signed with Kompany until 2029 provides stability for the club.

"Other clubs can knock on the door, but Vincent is not for sale. There is no transfer fee set for him. He is the first to arrive at the Sabener Strasse base in the morning and the last to leave. You can even see him analyzing games on the plane while returning from away matches," Hainer told Sport Bild.

According to the president, the goal of the contract extension was not to protect against Manchester City's interest, but to reward the coach's excellent work. Kompany has brought an attacking style and stability to the team, which is crucial for the club's long-term plans.

It is reported that Vincent Kompany and his family are currently happy in Munich. The Bayern leadership specifically noted that his hard work is having a positive impact not only on the team but on the entire club atmosphere.
