Bitcoin mining consumes 200,000 megawatt-hours of energy daily

Every day, 450 BTC is mined, requiring 200,000 megawatt-hours of electricity.

This amount of energy is enough to power 6.5 million homes.

Additionally, the same level of energy consumption could sustain CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
