Google Gemini Spark: New AI Assistant Integrated with Gmail

At its Google I/O conference, Google introduced Gemini Spark, a new agentic AI assistant built on Gemini foundation models. Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai described this technology as a next-generation assistant capable of acting on behalf of humans to manage digital life. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
The main advantage of Gemini Spark is its deep integration with the Google Workspace ecosystem, particularly Gmail, Google Docs, and other services. Users can give tasks directly to the agent via email, and the system is capable of navigating the internet independently through the Chrome browser to perform complex tasks.
Running on virtual machines in Google Cloud, this assistant can continue its operations even when the computer is turned off. Through the Android Halo system, users can monitor the agent's progress in real time.
According to Josh Woodward, VP of Google Labs, Gemini Spark is particularly useful for small business owners, helping to manage incoming customer emails and prepare automatic responses. Currently in the testing phase, the service will be available to Google AI Ultra subscribers starting next week.
